The National Living Wage takes affect from April 2016 and affects all workers aged 25 and above. This option will allow you to update the Staff or Staff at Site rates for workers who qualify.

 

Note: Staff who are being paid using Site rates or Company rates will not be affected and will need to be checked separately.

 

The Living Wage Update is accessed through Setups > Advanced > Staff and Sites Rates > Living Wage Update. This report should be run prior to each payroll cycle being opened to check for those employees reaching 25 during the cycle.

 

 

This will provide a report showing the rates that will be updated, if you are happy with the details on the report, set the Action to Update and then click Process.
