Overview
CleanLink’s stock system gives you the flexibility to hold unique products against each of your customer sites and furthermore hold special prices against these, dependent on the price charged for that item to that customer site. For example, you may not wish Bleach to be issued to a school and so this would not be available to order on the stock list for the school or may want to give a discount on an item to certain customers. CleanLink also gives you the option to globally update site stock list prices and add new stock items to all sites when desired.
CleanLink’s stock system allows you to apply budgetary controls to the amount of stock issued to a customer site, preventing overspends on materials which are not charged for. This budget can be spread over a 3 month period if necessary to allow for stock issue fluctuations.
In order to begin purchasing and issuing stock you will need to set up a main stock list. Each stock item will have a unique code, description, supplier(s), sales code, cost code, sale price and cost price.
Stock is held at ‘Depots’ within CleanLink and you may wish to have more than one stock depot or hold no stock at your premises, depending on the structure of your company. If you choose the former option, Cleanlink allows you to monitor stock levels automatically by calculating what was in stock at the point of stock take and what has since been issued. All stock movements are held in a history file should you wish to refer back to them.
